Every week, we will present you one of our Brand Ambassadors. This week: Abraham Toro.

At 21 years old, Abraham is currently playing in his third professional season with the Houston organization. He ranks at No. 29 in the Top Prospects list of the Fall Classic defending champions.

After being drafted in the fifth round in 2016, the Montreal-born third baseman started his pro career in the Appalachian League (Rookie Level) the same year. Last season, he split his time between the New York-Penn League (A Short Season) and the Midwest League (A level). He finished 2017 with a combined batting average of .246, 11 doubles, 15 home runs and 33 RBIs in 69 games. In July 2017, he was named the Minor League Player of the Month with Houston.

This year, he's playing in the Carolina League (A Advanced). He wrapped up the May 11-13 weekend on an impressive note: 9-for-13, 3 RBIs and 3 runs scored.
