We are proud to announce that French baseball player Andy Paz has joined its ambassador roster.
Paz, who was born in La Habana, Cuba, signed with the Oakland Athletics as a free agent in 2011 at the age of 18. This season, he reached the AA level in Midland, Texas, where he is playing as a catcher.
He is currently the only French player under contract with a Big Leagues organization.
“I had the opportunity to coach him with Team France and I saw a great potential in him. I am very happy to see him join our team, as he represents a lot for baseball in France”, declares B45 Chairman Éric Gagné.
In 52 games this season, including 42 games at the AA level, he is showing a .315 batting average with 2 home runs and 13 runs batted in.
