Phillippe Aumont becomes partner
B45 is proud to announce that Canadian pitcher Phillippe Aumont joins the company as a partner with the group led by former big leaguer Éric Gagné.
The Gatineau, Que. native will become an ambassador and will mainly promote the brand within his broad network at a professional level, but also on the amateur stage. Aumont will also participate in the process of developing new products.
“I always liked the B45 products. I believe in this company from my home province and I think its future will be bright, especially with the support of high-impact pro players like Jonathan Lucroy and Carlos Gonzalez. With the team in place, I think we will become a leader in the baseball equipment’s industry”, said the 2007 Major League first-round draft pick.
At age 27, the Canuck spent the first two years of his pro career with the Seattle Mariners organization, before being traded to the Philadelphia Phillies in 2009. He reached the Major League level in 2012 with this last team. This year, he signed as a free agent with the Chicago White Sox. He is currently participating in their training camp and luring a spot on their Major League roster.
Aumont is also a Senior National Team member. He participated in two World Baseball Classics and helped Team Canada win the gold medal at the 2015 PanAm Games, last summer.
